About the Elysia Alpha Compressor

The Elysia Alpha Compressor is the gold standard for mastering compression — a 2-channel unit where every single component of the signal path runs in constant Class A mode, including the sidechain and power supply. It set new standards when launched in 2006 and remains the reference mastering compressor for top-tier engineers worldwide.

The PH-AC CLAP emulation (one of the two reference plugins for the entire PhatSunny suite) models the Alpha's M/S matrix, parallel compression, feed-forward/feedback switching, Soft Clip limiter, and the transparency that makes it utterly addictive.
