Bitwig Studio arrived with a simple premise: a DAW built by people who actually use DAWs, for a workflow that treats music production as a living, breathing creative process rather than a linear recording session. The SSL Fusion Sandwich in Bitwig

Here's a technique that exists specifically because of how Bitwig handles CLAP plugin chains. The real SSL Fusion hardware has XLR insert points — engineers use them to route other gear through the middle of the Fusion's signal path. The result is a specific kind of three-dimensional pocket that defined the sound of a generation of commercial records.
