About the Vertigo Sound VSC-3

The Vertigo Sound VSC-3 is the legal successor to the legendary VSC-2 — the Quad Discrete Compressor that defined mastering-grade VCA compression. It uses four fully discrete 1979 VCAs, giving it a unique precision that integrated-circuit compressors simply cannot match. In Soft mode, the ratio increases with level — a truly musical, adaptive response.

The PH-VSC3 CLAP emulation captures the VSC-3's 1979 VCA character, Soft ratio mode, True Stereo SC, Mono SC, and Dual modes, RMS/Peak detection switching, and the M/S matrix — the 'Mercedes-Benz of compressors' now on Linux.
