About the Thermionic Culture Vulture

The Thermionic Culture Vulture is the first and only all-tube rack-mountable distortion and enhancement unit — a 2-channel British-made stereo valve device capable of everything from subtle harmonic glow to full speaker-cone-slashing destruction. Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers, Liam Howlett, and Groove Armada all use one.

The PH-CV CLAP emulation (the second reference plugin for the PhatSunny suite) models the Vulture's three distinct valve topologies — pentode and two triode modes — plus Bias control, Drive, and low-pass filters at 4kHz and 7kHz.
